Key Fundraising Milestone Achieved in Just Over Two Weeks

(Fort Worth) – Today, State Representative Craig Goldman announced that his campaign has raised over $500,000 since announcing his candidacy for Congress in CD 12, a key fundraising milestone achieved in just over two weeks.

“Since our announcement I’ve been overwhelmed with the number of people who have reached out to support our campaign, and with several events scheduled in the coming weeks, we are just getting started.  Reaching this milestone so quickly makes clear that people are responding to our conservative record and our agenda of border security, fighting for taxpayers, and restoring fiscal sanity.”

A small businessman and 4th generation Fort Worth native, Goldman has a long record of authoring and working to pass sweeping conservative legislation that has made Texas the national model for conservative governance. On November 7th, Texas voters overwhelmingly approved Prop 4, the largest property tax cut in Texas history, a measure which Goldman strongly supported in the Texas House.

As State Representative, Goldman has worked to secure historic funding and boots on the ground to secure the Texas border, defend the Second Amendment, protect the unborn, ensure religious freedoms, and fight radical efforts to defund the police.

While serving as Chair of the Texas House Energy Resources Committee, Goldman has worked to strengthen the Texas oil and gas industry, a bedrock of the state’s economy.  He has prioritized public safety, passing Molly Jane’s Law, a measure designed to help law enforcement better track sexual assaults.  Additionally, he authored a bill aimed at halting “Defund the Police” efforts.  In October, he sponsored HR 1, a strong, unequivocal resolution of support for Israel in light of the heinous attacks by Hamas.  The resolution was adopted unanimously by the Texas House.
