(Fort Worth) – Today, Craig Goldman, Republican candidate for Congressional District 12, announced the endorsements of Tarrant County State Representatives Charlie Geren, Stephanie Klick, Giovanni Capriglione and David Cook, as well as former State Representative Matt Krause.

Rep. Giovanni Capriglione stated, “Craig Goldman has a proven conservative record which spans over a decade in the Texas House. He partnered with me as a strong advocate for increasing government transparency and accountability, and he personally authored important ethics reforms to stop politicians from cashing in as lobbyists immediately after leaving office. That’s the kind of character and leadership we need in our next 12th District Congressman.”

Rep. David Cook said, “As our House Republican Caucus Chairman, Craig Goldman provided key leadership in ensuring major conservative victories on reducing property taxes, funding historic border security manpower and surveillance equipment, and ensuring a strong Texas economy. We need his conservative leadership working for us in Washington, D.C.”

Rep. Charlie Geren said, “As we choose our next Congressman, there is no one better prepared to hit the ground running and fight for our local interests than Craig Goldman. Fort Worth, Tarrant County and the entire congressional district will benefit from Craig’s priorities including a strong national defense, supporting lower taxes, rolling back regulations, and demanding that Washington step up, do their job, and finally secure the border. That’s a tall order, but I know Craig is up to the job, and he has my support.”

Rep. Stephanie Klick stated, “Craig Goldman is a Fort Worth original who is prepared to be an impact player for our district. His life experience in public service and his background in small business will serve us well. We came into the Texas House together, and I’ve watched him author and pass important legislation to stop fentanyl abuse, block cities from defunding the police, empower law enforcement to stop sexual predators, and much more. As a former Tarrant County GOP Chair I know the importance of electing leaders who can effectively articulate our party’s conservative agenda, and Craig Goldman will do a great job in that capacity.”

I had the pleasure of serving alongside Craig for ten years in the Texas House. During that time, I was able to witness firsthand how hard he worked for his constituents.
